Your SOL mobile app is a perfect way to receive your salary or any other payments, save money, and spend it using the connected SOL Card.

To receive your salary into the SOL app:

• tap Settings and go to Documents section
• download the payment details letter
• share it with your employer/friend to receive your salary/payment

Note that SOL is not a bank, and does not issue personal bank accounts. All the payments come into the same bank account. So make sure that your payer includes your phone number as a Beneficiary name/description/reference on the payment - otherwise your money will not be loaded into your SOL profile and could be lost.

Your money will be credited to your SOL app balance immediately when we receive it, which usually takes no more than 2 business days.

You can then [B4]load your SOL Card and pay in shops. Or get some cash in the nearest ATM. Or withdraw in participating retail shops. Or send the money to anyone else - other SOL users or any phone number in SA. Or pay your airtime/electricity/DSTV and any other bills by EFT transfer to SA bank accounts.
