SOLmate is your financial mate. It’s the simplest account which you can open with only SA ID or your foreign passport

To start enjoying SOL, you have to: Download the SOL mobile app:

• -Android: download here
• -iOS: download here
• Register with your phone number. Use the international format like +27601112233.
• Verify your identity online - go to app’s Settings and choose [E4]Identity Verification. Present your valid passport (foreign passport allowed) or SA ID card - that's all you need to get a SOL Card. The app will guide you through the steps, and will help to capture the photos of your document and your face. Our onboarding team will receive your submission and will process it - usually within 1 business day. Watch out for the app notification and in-app Chat for the feedback. Make sure to enable SOL app notifications in Settings.
• [A3]Order your SOL Card. A virtual SOL Card can be issued instantly in SOL app. For a physical SOL Card - select the delivery method, enter the address or choose a pickup agent. Make sure you are aware of the SOL [E1]usage fees.
• Pay the card activation fee. You can do it by: -- [B3]EFT transfer directly into your SOL profile -- Cash payment via any Standard Bank ATM -- Cash payment in selected retail shops -- [C3]Receiving a transfer from another SOL user -- In cash at any nearby SOL agent
• When you receive your SOL Card - activate it in the SOL app and enjoy it!
